Gone are the days when travelers looked into rough Guides, and relied on words and their imagination to bring a destination alive. Now, readers have become viewers who depend on vloggers like Tanya to help them give visual tours of their dream destination.
Tanya Khanijow, 26-year-old Delhiite, travels solo around the globe. She has done hundreds of trips, from cross borders to interstate travels all alone. She used to work in a well-paid MNC but few years into vlogging and shooting she realized this was her passion. And it was then, she left her 9-5 job and started working full time for her YouTube channel.
She right now has 153K followers on Instagram & a whopping 529K Subscribers on her YouTube channel. To our utter surprise her newly launched YouTube channel on home decors and DIY has almost 30k subscribers in just few months.
As mentioned earlier, Tanya also has a blogging website; it helps you get deeper knowledge of how to travel in foreign countries. Not only this her blogs also gives insights of restraunts, local shopping places and all the other ideas and hacks you need during travel.
In one of her interview when asked to Tanya why she loves to travel, her words were, "When you’re travelling, what matters the most is when you convince yourself to head out of the comfort of your home, and learn a little bit about who you are, about ways of other people’s lives, different cultures, and – more than anything – you learn how vast the world is and how many endless possibilities exist out there."
